The course provides documented training in the safe use of diisocyanates for anyone who uses products containing diisocyanates at work.
Requirements and regulations
Professional users who work with diisocyanates or mixtures containing at least 0.1% by weight of diisocyanates must have completed training in safe use before the work starts. The requirement follows from the REACH Regulation and Regulation (EU) 2020/1149.
Who is the course for?
The course is suitable for professional users who handle products containing diisocyanates, for example certain types of PU foam, adhesives, sealants, varnishes and coatings. Check the safety data sheet or the product label if you are unsure.
Purpose
That those who work with products containing diisocyanates are aware of the risks associated with exposure to diisocyanates, and have sufficient knowledge of good working methods, appropriate risk management measures and correct use of personal protective equipment.
