FSE course for electricians with first aid

The course provides the mandatory annual training under Forskrift om sikkerhet ved arbeid i og drift av elektriske anlegg (FSE) (Regulations on safety when working on and operating electrical installations).

The training is intended to ensure that work on or near electrical installations is planned and carried out safely. The course also covers first aid for accidents caused by electric current.

Who is the course for?

The course is suitable for qualified electrical personnel and others who work on or near low-voltage and high-voltage electrical installations.

The training must be adapted to each participant's work tasks, role, voltage level and risk.

Annual training requirement

FSE training must be repeated at least once a year, and no more than 12 months may pass between training sessions. The training must be carried out more often if the organisation's risk assessment shows that this is necessary.

Important information about the first aid training

First aid preparedness must be adapted to the organisation's risks and work tasks. The employer must ensure the necessary annual first aid training and practical exercises where required.

A purely online theory course does not automatically replace the organisation's need for practical first aid exercises.

How the course works: FSE as an online course

The theory part can be taken as an online course. The course is designed as a game in an app on a mobile phone or tablet, and can also be taken on PC and Mac. You also receive an interactive compendium and have access to the course for 12 months from the date of purchase.

Practical first aid is often required

Many employers and clients require the first aid to also be completed in practice, with training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Once you have completed the online course, you book a date for the practical part with us at Sem (Tønsberg). We can also come to you.

Note: The practical part is not included in the price of the online course and is booked and invoiced separately.

  • 1. Online theory: Buy the online course and complete it when it suits you.

  • 2. Practical first aid (booked separately): Call +47 947 86 797 or e-mail kontakt@mtkskolen.no to book a date and get a price.

  • 3. Course certificate: Issued after completing the course and passing the final test. The training must also be documented in the organisation's internal control system.
